Everybody’s A Critic

Joe Miranda November 17, 2011

When it comes to electric guitars and bass guitars everybody’s a critic, especially on the Internet. Everyone wants to tell you that the cheap electric guitars that you are looking at are no good, when the opposite is actually true.

New York Pro Guitars and Stadium Guitars are what you would call cheap electric guitars. What makes them cheap is the fact that they don’t cost a lot, and they are not made by one of the high dollar guitar manufacturers. While this may be true the word cheap only applies to the fact that they don’t cost a lot. Many people have tried these electric guitars and found they are really quite well made. There finish equals that of a high dollar guitar, and if it;s an exact duplicate that you are looking for there are some people who purchased these guitars and replaced the electronics with that of a Fender and for a fraction of the cost have a high quality electric guitar.

It’s Never The Same

Joe Miranda November 8, 2011

Cheap electric guitars and cheap bass guitars are where everyone starts out at one time or another. It’s nice to try and emulate your favorite rock stars by playing the same style electric guitar as they play, and play the same way that they play.

Would you be surprised if I tell you that they don’t play a song the same way twice. Sure they come close but playing on stage something is always different. There are intangibles that make them play different each time, and there changes are not even visible to the public.  So remember when you are practicing with your electric guitar made by New York Pro Guitars that you don’t have to be letter perfect when you are playing a song.

I guarantee if you purchase one of these fine acoustic, electric or bass guitars you won’t be disappointed and you will save yourself some money. Upon receiving the guitar package that you have chosen you will wonder why you never heard of these fine companies before.

Sometimes Change Is Good Thing

Joe Miranda October 15, 2011

When you’re new to playing electric guitars or bass guitars you have a tendency to take everything at face value. When you are trying to play a song that you have heard played on electric guitars you want to duplicate that song.

To me one of the things I like most about music in general is that nothing is cast in stone, nothing says you can’t play that song on an acoustic guitar at a different tempo, or change it up on your new guitar made by New York Pro Guitars. Take a look at what Eric Clapton did with the song  ”Layla” that he made popular with the band Derek And The Dominos. The original song was fast pace electric guitar masterpiece which he later slowed down and played as a ballad using an acoustic guitar.

It’s A Deadly Disease

Joe Miranda October 8, 2011

Back in March I wrote a piece about this deadly disease, well it’s back. Guitaritis strikes without warning but with the help of electric guitar packages it does not sap all your cash like expensive guitars do.

It can also be classified as an addiction since it goes after established as well as new people who play electric guitars. Names like New York Pro Guitars, Stadium Guitars, and Glen Burton Guitars seem to call out to you with their high quality and low prices.

However you not afflicted until you have purchased your first electric guitar. After a while you feel something tugging at you. It seems to squeeze you until you can’t resist anymore, and when you do you find yourself with multiple electric guitars.

There is no known cure for this disease, some professionals have up to seventy-five electric guitars bass guitars and acoustic guitars. Luckily for us there is such medication as cheap electric guitars and cheap bass guitars to ease our pain and suffering.

The Right Elements

Joe Miranda October 3, 2011

Since the 1960′s there have been many bands wowing us with their abilities with electric guitars and bass guitars. Each band had its own sound, and sound that made them different form the other bands.

Unless a band had a unique twist that would transform someone else’s song covering another bands songs was almost never done. It’s a good thing too because that would make their sound no better than we could do if we were playing on a New York Pro Guitars. What makes each band unique is there own songs, done their own way, and when they go outside those boundaries it makes them sound no different than you and I.

Options

Joe Miranda September 17, 2011

Wouldn’t life be boring if everyone looked the same as you, or dressed the same because there was only one style of clothes in only one color. How about if there were only one kind of car, in one color and no options to make it yours.

Well thank goodness life isn’t that way and there are plenty of options. Cheap electric guitars in electric guitar packages gives you those options when it comes to playing and owning electric guitars. With expensive model guitars you can only afford to purchase one, but cheap electric guitars gives you options. Options to own a few different styles in electric or bass guitars and not break the bank. Manufacturers like New York Pro Guitars, Glen Burton Guitars and Stadium Guitars are just a few of the fine names that you will find who manufacture a great line of cheap electric guitars.

Finger-Picking Favorites For The Acoustic

Joe Miranda September 10, 2011

Lindsey Buckingham is one of the premier guitarists of today. He is known mostly as the guitarist for Fleetwood Mac, and has a distinctive finger-picking style. This is demonstrated on their song “Landslide”. It is a song that although sounding difficult it makes use of basic finger-picking patterns.

“Time In A Bottle” is another example of a great finger-picking song. It is a song by the late Jim Croce that forces you to use your pinky. That might not sound like much but many new acoustic and electric guitar players have trouble using their pinky when they play.

These songs can be played on electric guitars but sound much better on acoustic guitars like the ones made by New York Pro Guitars. If you don’t already own an acoustic guitar maybe these songs will get you off the fence.
