There are many people out there who would like you to believe that the only electric guitars out there are made by Fender and Gibson, well I’m here to say that just ins’t so. Cheap electric guitars are made and are successful for a reason, they an affordable alternative to plunking down big bucks on a guitar.
There are many different guitar makers out there, Stadium Guitars, New York Pro Guitars, and Glen Burton Guitars are just a few of them. I guarantee if you purchase one of these fine acoustic, electric or bass guitars you won’t be disappointed and you will save yourself some money. Upon receiving the guitar package that you have chosen you will wonder why you never heard of these fine companies before.
I don’t know about you but sometimes I just get tired of that twangy sound given up by electric guitars. Fortunately there are a few options for getting a different sound.
The guitar that mostly comes to mind is the acoustic guitars, that’s the one with the big sound hole in the middle of it. Many people don’t know these guitars can also be purchased electrified, meaning they are equipped so they can be played through a guitar amplifier or just by themselves.
Jazz guitars like the ones made by Glen Burton guitars are another way to get away from that conventional twangy rock sound. These electric guitars can be identified by their “F” holes. These guitars are also called semi-hollow electric guitars because some are completely hollow and some have a solid block of wood down the center of the guitar. If you take note as to some of the early bands that shaped rock and roll in the 1960′s, this was the type of guitar they used.
Every bands electric guitar packages are different when it comes to their sound. When you think about it, it’s down-right fascinating how all bands use electric guitars but somehow they all sound different.
Most bands you will find several electric guitars. There is someone playing bass guitar, and two or more electric guitars. One is strumming chords playing rhythm, and one is playing chords along with solos as the lead guitar.
I recently caught The Doobie Brothers new concert and talk about complimentary guitars, I believe there’s no band out there that is better than them. Check them out you will find Pat Simmons playing with a finger-picking style, Tommy Johnston strumming away with an occasional solo, and John McFee who you will find playing anything from his usual strat guitar playing chords, soloing, or playing solo’s with a slide. You will also see him playing a steel guitar and even a violin on some songs, guitar packages don’t come any better than these three.
Rediscovering electric guitars is a blog that is more for someone who plays electric guitars or bass guitars and already owns one. For those of you who don’t play any guitar but always wanted to this is more of a fantasy.
There are times when practicing and sometimes even jamming with friends becomes stale, I’m sure you know what I mean, it has happened to all of us, even the pros. Cheap bass guitars and cheap bass guitars are a great way to freshen up your enthusiasm for music. They are affordable and there are copies of all the expensive models, without the cost of course.

Do you play bass guitar like me, or electric guitar? If not, do you thing you will start playing any type of guitar in the near future?
It’s no secret to become a good guitar player you have to practice. I know it can be boring at times but the more practice you get the better you will be. The best way to practice, especially if you are new is to first get the feel of your electric guitar. It doesn’t matter if it’s expensive or cheap electric guitars every guitar has it’s own feel. Next one of the best things you practice is your scales. Start slowly picking up speed as you go along, try letting your fingers travel on the neck without looking at them, as if they had their own eyes.
Scales are basically behind your chords and solos, and if you play bass they’re an essential part of every song that you will play. Learning the basics will make learning everything else easier.
I can’t explain it but all my life I tend to focus more on bass guitars than any other instrument. Yes in the 1960′s I was able to hear through the terrific electric guitars playing exceptional solo’s, along with moving rhythms and single out the bass line.
I have managed to secure many bass guitar packages through the years. Some have cheap bass guitars and some expensive ones. I have played and owned quite a few bass guitars, including a j-bass, a p-bass, and a violin bass, I also own a hollow body bass guitar that looks like the Gibson E355 hollow body guitar.
Although I don’t play gigs anymore I still own them all and play them all. Each style adds something else to your sound. If there is anything you get out of this blog it’s don’t underestimate cheap electric guitars. It’s a way to own several different types of guitars without breaking the bank.
When you first started playing your guitar made by Stadium Guitars you probably did it with the intention of just learning for yourself. Learning how to play electric guitars and bass guitars either by taking lessons one on one, or by virtue of the Internet can only take you so far. Don’t get me wrong learning the basics is definitely the way to go but their is more to learn.
When you start jamming with your friends the whole world of music will open up for you, I know it did for me. Not only did we get to share each others electric guitars and bass guitars to see how they played, but more importantly we got to share each others music knowledge. If you decide to take it to the next step after you have been playing awhile you will get a rush like you have never experienced before.
When we were ready we took our guitar packages and started playing gigs. Being on stage with everyone listening just to you is an experience everyone should get to know. After doing that you can understand the psyche of professional bands.
Has anybody else besides me ever noticed the beauty and many uses for wood? It is sometimes disguised with color of a covering of some kind but when you look around it is with every single day.
The homes we live in are made of wood because of its strength, the kitchen cabinets are made of wood because of its strength and beauty. The furniture you sit on is also made of wood, even if it is an upholstered chair (the frame is made of wood).
Cheap electric guitars, cheap bass guitars share the same thing as expensive guitars do, you guessed it they too are made of wood. The body of your electric guitar can be made of numerous species of wood from alder, mahogany, and ash for the body, just to name a few, to maple and rosewood for the neck. Wood can be cutout to form any shape imaginable.
There are many people playing electric guitars and bass guitars out there. However too many have been brainwashed into thinking to have a quality guitar you must pay thousands for a top named brand, according to them it’s junk unless it is made by Fender or Gibson.
Now I’m not disputing these manufacturers are tops in their field, I own a Fender bass guitar myself, what I am saying you can pay a relatively low amount for either cheap electric guitars or cheap bass guitars and get great quality. There are quite a few aftermarket guitar manufacturers out there that make electric guitars that are great for practice as well as playing gigs. One of the things you can do is modify your guitar by changing out the pick-ups and other electronics to make it sound exactly like an expensive guitar without that expensive guitar price tag.
Everyday people everywhere listen to music. I don’t care if you are old or young there is a music style for you. There are some people who not only listen to music but play either electric guitars or bass guitars also.
When you are a guitar player it is like double dipping, you not only listen to music, but you can play it also. It makes no difference if you play cheap electric guitars and play in the privacy of your own home or you play guitar in public, music is something to be enjoyed by everyone.
Another great thing about music is there is a music genre to suit everyone. Just as there is a vast amount of selection when it comes to listening to music, there is also a vast amount guitars to choose from, like Glen Burton Guitars, New York Pro Guitars, and Stadium guitars.
