Get Off The Fence

Joe Miranda July 29, 2010

How many people are thinking of starting a musical career by playing the guitar? One of the things they are not sure of is what type of guitar to start off with.

My feelings about that is, acoustic guitar packages are just the thing to get you off the fence. Not only are these acoustic guitars a thing of beauty, they can be played with or without a guitar amplifier. The more bucks you have to pluck down on one of these guitars the better the finish will be, along with a better equalizer, not to mention the appliques. You will find exceptional appliques around the sound hole, and also take notice of the binding all around the guitar.

When you lump together a guitar accessories like, a guitar amplifier, guitar stand, gig bag, electronic tuner, guitar strap, guitar cable, guitar polish with cloths, along with your choice of acoustic guitar it makes your choice a no brain-er, acoustic guitar packages it is.

Guitar Packages Are For Everyone

Joe Miranda July 26, 2010

Did you know that guitar packages are for everyone. That’s right, no matter what your skill level is, it doesn’t  matter what it is a bass guitar, electric or acoustic guitar there is a guitar package for you.

There are guitar packages with jazz guitars, for those of you that like that style, as well as acoustic guitar packages for players who like to play unplugged, and of course we haven’t excluded bass guitar players, there are bass guitar packages designed just for you.

If you already own a electric guitar and amp and are thinking guitar packages are not for me than think again, purchasing another guitar package is a way to increase you sound by picking up a style of guitar you don’t have, and don’t forget the additional guitar amplifier, it can be used as a pre-amp.

Glen Burton Guitars

Joe Miranda July 24, 2010

Prior to having a store that sells electric guitars I never heard of some of the manufacturers like Glen Burton Guitars and New York Pro guitars, that I am selling . Like I’m sure many of you I was skeptical of anything other than the top manufacturers.

Much to my surprise these electric guitars and bass guitars play great, and for a much cheaper price. Team them up a 20 watt guitar amplifier and you are ready to play with the best of them. These electrics come in all your favorite styles which include strats, teles, and even jazz style guitars. You won’t be disappointed with the way these guitars look or sound, so make your move towards one of these fine electric guitars.

Music Unplugged

Joe Miranda July 21, 2010

Unplugged is the way to describe music played with acoustic guitars. Many of your favorite bands often play some of their music without the use of their electric guitars, this showcases their individual talents as musicians.

If you already own an electric guitar you might want to look into picking up an acoustic guitar for the same reasons as the professionals do. Along with the obvious advantage of not having to play through a guitar amplifier, you might want to pick up an acoustic guitar for the sheer beauty of the instrument. Now I’m not saying to hang up your electric guitar for an acoustic, I’m just saying there’s room for both, no matter what the music genre you play.

Because It Makes A Great Gift

Joe Miranda July 12, 2010

Is someone very close coming up with a birthday, graduation or some other event? Have ever thought of giving them the gift of music?

If you have acoustic guitar packages are just the thing you should be looking into. Although electric guitars outsell acoustic guitars, (mainly because their seen ore often by music groups) they can also be more intimidating, especially to someone who has never picked up, or played a guitar before. An acoustic guitar however is less intimidating, and in many ways a more beautiful guitar. For one thing if you pick up an acoustic electric guitar it can be played with a guitar amplifier or by itself. Another thing you will find is the higher you pay in most cased it will get you a better equalizer, along with very pretty inlay work around the sound hole. Acoustic guitar packages are affordable and make a great gift for that special someone.

Guitar Packages?

Joe Miranda July 8, 2010

Most people being new to the world of electric guitars will probably say, what is guitar packages? What are guitar packages all about? After finding out about them they will say, Where can I get one?

Guitar packages can be found in electric guitar packages, bass guitar packages, and even acoustic guitar packages. Besides getting the guitar of your choice, along with the guitar amplifier of your choice you will also get a gig bag, guitar stand, guitar tuner, guitar polish and rags, and of course guitar strap and guitar chord. The prices can range according to how much you want to spend. It’s that unusual for guitar players to have more than one guitar package, like an electric and acoustic guitar package.

If it’s value you are looking for look search for guitar packages, electric guitar packages, bass guitar packages, or acoustic guitar packages on the Internet.

Funk Slapping Bass

Joe Miranda June 15, 2010

The 60’s was a great time and place for all types music, especially if your into guitars like I am. Hendrix with the help of his guitar package that consisted of an upside down strat electric guitar and Marshall guitar amplifier, brought us a sound we will never hear again.

Every band had their own great sound with the help of Gibson LP guitars, and Jazz style guitars, Fender strats, Telecasters along with their Precision and Jazz bass guitars. These instruments were used to create rock, blues, and country music.

One band that stood out in the 60’s was Sly and the Family Stone. They were the first integrated band with a clear cut message about blacks and whites getting along in the song “Everyday People”. This is the band that invented Funk, and their bass guitar player Larry Graham invented the slapping bass guitar style that is used when playing Funk music.

It’s A Personal Thing

Joe Miranda June 14, 2010

Most people are satisfied picking up their electric guitar, plugging it into their 10w guitar amp and playing along with the music of their choice. What they don’t realize is different guitar packages can give you a unique sound that you never thought you could achieve.

There is many things that can attribute to your sound, the obvious and the most frequent thing that is changed is the style electric guitar that you play. Electric guitars have different styles because each one is designed with its own sound. Often overlooked is the guitar amplifier that you use. Amplifiers come in different wattage’s, like 10w, 20w or even 100w with speakers ranging from 6″ to 15″ or bigger. Your amplifier also comes with knobs that not only control the volume but also the high, mid, and low tones all of which can give you a different sound. The biggest thing in developing a sound is to use your imagination and create a sound that is pleasing to you.

Practicing With A Reason

Joe Miranda June 6, 2010

Whether your a pro, intermediate, or beginner, playing an acoustic guitar, bass guitar, or maybe an electric guitar practicing can get to be a real chore sometimes. Practicing with a reason always seems to help bring interest to your practice.

If your in a house band practicing is easy because you want to stay sharp for you customers. Maybe you in a band that plays special occacions like weddings. I’m sure your practice sessions are easier when you have a gig coming up rather than long spells inbetween gigs where your practices seem to drag.

If your a beginner or intermediate guitar player try and set goals for yourself. Find a guitar riff you don’t know and practice with a goal of learning it. Maybe it’s a particular sound your looking for, try adjusting your guitar amplifier to different settings and try to achieve that sound you are looking for.

No matter what class your in it always pays to have a goal, it makes practicing much more interesting.

You Don’t Know You Have One

Joe Miranda May 25, 2010

Whether you realize it or not everyone who plays an electric guitar and has a guitar amplifier has got an electric guitar package. Everything you have acquired that concerns your guitar is part of your package.

It’s quite common to have purchase everything separately, especially if your in my age category where there was no such thing as purchasing a complete guitar package. Musical instruments have come a long way since the 60’s, the color choices are many, as is the amplifier selection, tuners and the rest of the things you might need. With either bass guitar, acoustic guitar, or electric guitar packages it’s possible to get everything you need at the same time.
