Everyone Should Have One
In the forty some odd years I have been listening to, and playing music things haven’t changed a whole lot. When your young you tend to idolize rock stars and automatically see them playing an electric guitar which is why electric guitars ate the best sellers.
Acoustic guitars for this reason have taken a back seat to the electrics. It took me a long time to understand this and now I’m trying to educate the younger guitar players as to the perks of playing an acoustic guitar.
Without the help of electronics you can actually hear what your playing sounds like. Did you ever hear of the term unplugged, that’s when you hear a rock song that is normally played with an electric guitar played acoustically by the same person or band you hear on the radio. For me it really puts a whole different light on the subject and proves you should own an acoustic guitar along with an electric guitar.
