The Acoustic Electric Guitar

Joe Miranda October 6, 2011

Acoustic electric guitars are incredible instruments, the sound you get from this kind of guitar is a sound that you can’t achieve from a solid body electric guitar. They are essentially an acoustic guitar with amplification.

This is done by incorporating a little microphone, normally at the bridge. It is able to amplify the vibrations made by the hollow body, something the pick-ups of a solid body electric guitars can’t do. The electrified sound that you hear is sent to a preamplifier before it goes to a guitar amplifier, this is done by a built-in equalizer with volume and tone controls. These equalizers can control up to six frequencies.

Acoustic guitar packages give you an acoustic guitar along with an a guitar amplifier, and all the additional guitar accessories you might need. Keep one thing in mind even with cheap electric guitars you get what you pay for, meaning the more money you spend the better the equalizer. Along with the better equalizer you will find the inlay work will be more detailed. When you compare acoustic guitars to electric guitars you will see for yourself the added workmanship in the bindings and inlays.

The Other Electric Guitar

Joe Miranda September 30, 2011

Acoustic guitars or (acoustic electric guitar) as they are sometimes called, don’t get the respect that they deserve. When asked, people just starting to play guitar most often opt ro play electric guitars. I guess it’s because electric guitars have more of an association with the bands in rock and roll.

There are some people who don’t think it’s cool to play acoustic guitars when actually it’s just the opposite. If it’s not cool than why do all the major artists enjoy performing their songs with acoustics. There is a show on the radio every Sunday morning called The Acoustic Storm that does just that, features artists doing some of their songs unplugged. Artists you wouldn’t normally associate with acoustic guitars do their songs acoustically. The acoustic guitar showcases their talent.

As far as the guitar itself acoustic guitar packages are available just like electric guitar packages. Even with cheap acoustic guitars their are levels of workmanship, the more you are willing to spend the better the on board equalizer is along with the intricate inlays that you won’t find on any electric guitar. New York Pro Acoustic guitars give you a five band equalizer along with great inlays on the body of the guitar, and the frets.

Make Room For Acoustics

Joe Miranda August 21, 2011

Acoustic guitars are over-shadowed by electric guitars, that’s because most rock songs highlight electric guitars as the main instrument. Discover the world of acoustic guitars and the many songs and artists that have played them.

Through the years there have been plenty of solo artists and bands that have featured acoustic guitars. Going back to the late 1950′s you could name Elvis Presley, Rick Nelson, and The Everly Brothers just to name a few. Of the solo artists the late Jim Croce and John Denver are ones that come to mind.

Acoustic guitars bring a soft tone to your music unlike the familiar twang your used to from electric guitars. They can be played by strumming or finger-picking. Even if you play electric, don’t you think it’s about time you sampled an acoustic guitar or acoustic guitar packages.

So It’s A Copy

Joe Miranda June 16, 2011

If you have been looking at electric guitars and go around the Internet reading reviews, you might be making a big mistake. Don’t get me wrong it’s a good thing to do, if you do it the right way and consider the source.

You can find reviews on almost most electric and acoustic guitars, as well as bass guitars. Some are written by magazines and some are by individuals. It’s the one’s by the individuals that can hurt you.

Because many electric guitars are copies of the originals by Fender and Gibson, people seem to think that that are a piece of junk and you should save up to spend thousands of dollars on one of the top models. What these people don’t realize is that cheap electric guitars have come a long way. New York Pro guitars, Stadium guitars, and Glen Burton guitars are three guitar manufacturers that fit that category. Most people that I have come across who have tried one of these beauties can’t believe how well they play, and have also remarked as to the wonderful finishes on them. One really nice thing about them is they can be found in electric guitar packages as well as bass guitar packages, and acoustic guitar packages.

Do you own an a guitar package? It can be either an electric guitar package, acoustic guitar package, or a bass guitar package. Do you find yourself wanting a newer different style guitar, maybe an acoustic guitar to go with your electric guitar. Maybe you find yourself wanting more power.

What would you say if I told you that with the help of cheap electric guitars you can have both. The improvements made on cheap electric guitars will give you a great sound, and for very little money compared to those expensive brands. You will find guitar packages in most styles and colors. Something to think about, instead of spending a lot of money on just an amplifier by purchasing a bigger guitar amplifier at a higher cost, find yourself affordable electric guitar packages with a smaller amplifier

Guitar packages come in three main categories, electric guitar packages, bass guitar packages, and acoustic guitar packages. If you or anyone you know is interested in playing any style guitar than there’s a guitar package for you.

The main difference between electric guitar packages and acoustic guitar packages is the guitar. An acoustic guitar will have a sound hole where the vibrating sound will come from, and the electric guitar will not. The bass guitar package will have a bass amplifier which is made differently than a guitar amplifier. The case construction is beefier along with a beefed up speaker to handle the low tones of the bass guitar.

The Other Electric Guitar

Joe Miranda April 17, 2011

Did you know there was another electric guitar that doesn’t look like an electric guitar. In fact it looks just like an acoustic guitar, and that is because it is an acoustic guitar.

There are acoustic guitars that have a pick-up built into the bridge that is attached to an equalizer powered by a 9v battery with a chord jack. I have seen equalizers of three band on up depending on how much you want to spend. Along with different equalizers the degree of workmanship you get is is in relationship to how much you want to spend on your acoustic electric guitar. For added value you can also find them bundled in what is called acoustic guitar packages.
