There are many reasons for people young and old to start playing electric guitars or bass guitars. The reasons range from someone who has always wanted to play guitar to others who have a favorite song, band or individual that they associate with and would like to play like them.
When starting to play everyone starts out playing cheap electric guitars and cheap bass guitars. For those who choose to learn from written or lessons on DVD don’t get too bored with the basics they are necessary. For those who chose other ways to learn the same thing applies, learn the basics, they are the foundation for those songs you want to learn how to play. Learning all the chords is more important learning those guitar solo’s.
When is the last time that you did something for yourself? Especially with the economy being what it is, it’s a hard thing to find some extra money for yourself. Wouldn’t it be nice to find something that hasn’t been affected by rising costs.
Electric guitars and electric guitar packages might just be what you are looking for. Cheap electric guitars cost a fraction of the expensive guitars they look like. Let’s not forget bass guitars and bass guitar packages, they are as affordable as electric guitars are.
If you are a guitar player like me you know there is nothing like the feeling of playing a new guitar, or having several guitars to choose from. There is a definite difference in the sound from a hollow body guitar to a solid body guitar, just as there is a different sound going from a telecaster to a stratocaster electric guitar. So why not treat yourself today to a new guitar, you’ll be glad you did.
Great bands are made up from people playing electric guitars, bass guitars, and one or more adding to the vocals. Usually one or two of the elements stand out, thus making the band stand out. It is from this that I say great bands are the sum of it’s whole.
Bass guitar packages and electric guitar packages are the same thing. While the main parts are made up from electric guitars and bass guitars along with guitar amplifiers and bass amplifiers, when you look at them there is much more there. Guitar tuners, stands, cases, and cleaning kits are things that are easily overlooked, but are really quite essential.
If you are serious about playing guitar than you know that guitar is just a word. There are acoustic guitars, electric guitars, and bass guitars. There are several types of guitar that go into the make-up of each type.
Just to touch briefly on the subject, there are acoustic guitars that are amplified and those that are not. Electric guitars can be either solid body, or hollow body as in jazz guitars. The solid body electric guitars have many different styles all with their own sound. Bass guitars like electric guitars have many different styles.
Not to be confusing but each one comes in guitar packages, there are electric guitar packages, bass guitar packages, and acoustic guitar packages. Each one is made up of cheap electric guitars that are made to expensive models standards.
To play gigs and to be well rounded it is nice to have several types and styles to represent different sounds. Thanks to electric guitar packages having more than one guitar becomes a reality.
Guitar packages like jazz guitar packages are a good thing for anyone thing to have or add to their collection of electric guitars. Similar to acoustic guitars that make use of a sound hole that gives off vibrations when you play it, the jazz guitar has two “f” holes that on it’s hollow body structure that do the same thing.
The sound is not that familiar twang you get from solid body electric guitars, but rather a soft amplified one that is unlike the solid body. Now I’m not saying to throw away your electric guitars in favor of jazz guitars, I’m saying there is room for both of them.
There are people out there who listen to music that don’t know the difference between bass guitars and electric guitars, to them a guitar is a guitar. Of course those of you who plays guitar knows the difference.
I’ll take my opening statement a bit farther and say those same people who don’t know one from the other also don’t know the difference between expensive and cheap bass guitars or cheap electric guitars. They don’t know if the lead instrument on a song is an electric guitar or a bass guitar, nor do they care.
What they do know is when something sounds good to their ears. The song doesn’t have to be complicated, likewise the guitar player doesn’t have to be the best in the world. Anyone new to the world of playing that has just picked up their first of possibly many electric guitar packages, you don’t have to be the best electric guitar player in the world because most people just wouldn’t know.
If you are one of the many electric guitar or bass guitar owners that have an electric guitar made by one of the top names in the business bravo to you. I too own a bass guitar by a top manufacturer and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
If you are one of the lucky guitar players mentioned above and think that guitar packages are not for you than you are wrong. Guitar packages are offered in electric guitar packages, acoustic guitar packages, and bass guitar packages, and offer you the affordability of owning different styles of electric guitars than you already have at a fraction of the cost.
Many of these cheap electric guitars will surprise you with their action and their overall good looks. You won’t mind using them at gigs as they will give you peace of mind in case anything should happen to it. The peace of mind is the fact nothing happened to your expensive guitar. Should anything happen to it, it is easily replaced with a cost that won’t break your wallet, like your expensive one.
The purchasing electric guitar packages or bass guitar packages doesn’t automatically make you a musician. There are countless years, months, and hours that go into playing a guitar.
The road towards playing electric guitars is filled with ups and downs, some caused by daily events, while some are the result of having good and bad days of playing guitar. Playing bass guitar since the 1960′s, I have found it useful at times to study the techniques of other bass guitar players and sometimes incorporate them into my playing. They can be techniques by other guitarists in your area or they can be achieved be observing a live video of your favorite musician and his band.
Are you struggling learning with how to play electric guitars or bass guitars? Cheap electric guitars as well as the expensive guitars all should be treated, handled and played with feeling.
If you treat your guitar as just a piece of wood with strings on it, it will reflect on your playing. When you learn how to become one with it you will see your playing vastly improve. Basically what I’m trying to say is, if you don’t feel it how can you possibly play it.
If you are in the thought process of playing electric guitars there are several things that you should be thinking about. First is are you considering playing electric guitars, bass guitars, or maybe acoustic guitars.
Your next decision is what kind of playing will you be doing, will you be content just playing at home for yourself, or joining or starting a band and playing gigs. Depending upon your answer lies electric guitar packages and bass guitar packages with different size amplifiers to solve your questions.
Many people are under the idea that you need a big guitar amplifier to have a great sound, the truth is yes you do, but at what cost? If you plan on playing on an individual basis, or maybe jamming with some friends just for the fun of it I suggest staying with a 10w or 20watt guitar or bass amplifier, depending on what you are playing. Even if you do plan on playing gigs at some point these two are the perfect choice for starting out, you can always move up to a bigger amp as you get better.
